Abstract

Simulator with optimal step time(SOST) is a simulator that has been designed to research large HVDC/AC systems. The adequacy and robustness of the simulator will be proved showing some important applications relevant to operation. Operational planing and medium term planning. Listed below are some unique features of SOST simular. Optimal step time algorithm, interpolation, chatter removal. MATLAB interface, unlimited size of AC systems, Farsi command, are essential modelling complex power electronic circuits, they provide fast and accurate results.
